RE: dingy towing

I have done both, had one those Kar Dollies that fold so it takes less space, got ride of it and have been towing 4 down. The dolly was a pain, I like 4 down better.

RE: speed cameras

I think the cameras are great, the only problem is that when the speed changes from 75 to 65 to 55 to 45 the warning signs for the lower speed limits are on the cameras posts, in theory you could caught and get a photo ticket.
Be careful while traveling through Arizona.

RE: OK now for a real Fued!!

I think either one would be a great MH, maybe you see which floorplan you and DW like the best. I am partial to the Monaco. Good luck with decision.

RE: changing 30amp plug???????

Like Dutch_12078 and some other say, I replaced my plug on my 50 amp about a year ago and have not had any problems. The installation was separating at the plug. Also like the handle on the yellow plug, easier to grip.

RE: What are your plans for '09??

Retiring in April after 40+ years in Fire Protection, then we going Napa Valley wine country to attend a Beaver Rally in May, after that up to the Seattle area to visit our son, then we thought we would take our sweet time and heard to Upper State NY, and then down to NC to vist the brother-in-law and his wife. Will atempt to be back in Arizona before the first snow fall. lol

RE: cellular phone companies

Got rid of the land line sometime back and went with Verizon, they seem to have the best coverage, I don't think anyone has good coverage in OK alone I-40. Really like there wireless card too.

RE: Buying a Class A, should I sell the popup?

Nice MH, you didn't say how old you are or if you have kids and grandkids. What a way to camp and have the kids stay in the pop up so you and the DW can have your time or let the grandkids stay with you, I have found that the kids are more fun the second time around, we should have them first. Keep it and see what it brings.

RE: Renting an RV for a family vacation

Be sure to check out the hiden costs like propane usage. Also make sure all the necessary equipment is there, friend rented one for the races, went to dump and the sewer hose ws missing. First time they rented and dumped, they learned the hard way.
Good luck and enjoy your trip.

RE: 05 Beaver-Does not acknowledge Honda 2000i Generator

Mine is also pretty quiet, can't imagine the Honda being that much more quiet that I for sure would not notice. Do alot of dry camping with friends and their gasser genny is alot noiser than mine. No has complained about there noise.
